Great Yarmouth has a great deal to offer with various attractions to suit
all. The Golden Mile with it’s restaurants, nightclubs and amusements is
just a short walk from the Shrewsbury or five minutes walk will find you in
the town centre with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Firework displays have now become a regular event in Great Yarmouth on
Wednesday nights, the fun starts at 8pm with a musical roadshow on the jetty
at Marine Parade followed by fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. Displays
will take place from 26th July to 30th August.
The area of Great Yarmouth includes Gorleston on Sea and twenty-one villages
that are set in beautiful coastal and rural settings alongside the famous
Norfolk Broads. The surrounding countryside beckons with historic houses,
fine gardens, wildlife parks, castles, crafts and bygone days collections to
visit. |

period properties. The town has a rich maritime and fishing heritage and you
can explore some of its oldest buildings and discover how the rich and poor

1950’s. Follow Great Yarmouth’s transformation from a sandbank to the
present day, celebrating the town’s rich and unique maritime and fishing

Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

in the landscaped grounds and gardens of Thrigby Hall. A very enjoyable day
